Panasonic is rumored to announce a new Leica DG Summilux 12mm f/1.4 ASPH lens on June 15th. I wonder how this will compare to one of my favorite m43 lenses, the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2.0 in price/performance.

Camera Store TV isn’t impressed with the new Panasonic GX85 for a variety of good reasons that are probably related to the GH5 being late. Unfortunately the delay of the Panasonic GH5 leaves a gap in our understanding of what the latest and greatest m43 sensors should be capable of, which could cause disappointment. The GX85 is a step above other m43 bodies on the market in many ways, but I think we are approaching a point where reviewers expect more than an incrementally updated sensor in new m43 bodies.

Kelsea Weber fully disassembled the Olympus Pen E-PL7 for iFixit today and it’s impressive how much Olympus was able to pack into such a small package. Kelsea also created a few repair guides for the E-PL7 in addition to the tear down that go into detail about specific parts to the Olympus Pen E-PL7. iFixit, also has a few repair guides available for the Olympus E-PL1 by Jeffery Smith that are worth a look if your interested in the model.
Adobe released Lightroom 6.6/Lightroom CC 2015.6/Camera Raw Update 9.6, the other day which adds guided upright and support for the new Panasonic DMC-GX85 (DMC-GX80, DMC-GX7MK2). There are also quite a few new Samyang and Rokinon lens profiles included. Read More
