DPReview: Panasonic FZ2500/2000

The Panasonic FZ2500 is a great video camera and will pair very well with the upcoming GH5. It’s ability to output 10-bit 4:2:2 over HDMI is unmatched in this class of camera and it will be great for a B-cam. It even compares well to Sony’s RX10 and RX100 line of cameras for photography. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this camera to someone interested in getting serious about their photography. You can read DPReview’s full review here.

Panasonic LX10/15 vs Sony RX100V

Then CameraStoreTV compare the Sony RX100V and Panasonic LX10/LX15 in the freezing cold. The Sony wins the most categories, but the Panasonic has the better lens. Panasonic would probably be far better off doing something new rather than chasing after the Sony RX100.

Introducing The Nauticam NA-EM1II Housing

Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II
The Ultimate OM-D!
Compared to the previous E-M1, and all other Olympus Micro Four Thirds cameras, the E-M1 II is an improvement in every way.  The new 20MP Live MOS sensor provides a useful bump in resolution.  Dual quad core processors combine to allow 60 fps burst shooting (18 fps with autofocus).  An incredibly advanced autofocus system (121 focus points covering 75-80% of the frame) grabs subjects instantly without hunting, and doesn’t let go when tracking. Gariz Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Half Case

Gariz’s half case for the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II is now available on Amazon in Black and Brown. This case also supports their sling system (Black and Brown), which I have used before and it works very well.

TCSTV: Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Review

Typical TCSTV Review of the Olympus OM-F E-M1 Mark II. Kind of interesting that pro-capture mode causes the EVF/LCD refresh speed to be greatly reduced according to Chris. Also he doesn’t sound overly satisfied with the continuous AF system, which could be improved with a firmware update in the future hopefully. I find a lot of what Olympus is doing exciting, but like many I can’t wait for the price drop to buy.
