Photorumors received a report from a reader that the Panasonic G9 is now shipping in Germany. The G9 was supposed to start shipping in January so it’s not very early, but feel free to try your luck at B&H Photo / Amazon / Adorama to see if any of them are shipping yet. Sometimes B&H Photo ships before they change the preorder status.

Camera Store TV’s Best & Worst of 2017: GH5 Best Video Camera and Leica 8-18mm Best Lens

TCSTV’s Best and Worst list is often quite amusing and interestingly, this year TCS included a lot of other vloggers in their best and worst of video and they largely agreed with the MFT wins. The GH series of cameras has always been the top hybrid camera on the market, which is why Sony and Fujifilm are going after the camera aggressively with their Sony a7S and upcoming Fujifilm X-H1 camera. 2018 will be an interesting year with the Sony a7SIII, Fujifilm X-H1, and Panasonic GH5s coming.

Best cameras:
Nikon D850
Sony a7RIII
Fujifilm X-T20

Best Lenses:
Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 8-18mm f/2.8-4 ASPH.
Fujinon MK18-55mm T2.9
Sony FE 85mm f/1.8

Best Video cameras:
Panasonic GH5
Panasonic EVA1
Canon C200
