DPReview Awards: Panasonic and Olympus Win Awards in 2017

Olympus and Panasonic managed to win awards from DPReview this year and were nominated for more. It’s kind of surprising that the Panasonic GH-5 made an appearance in Consumer Still/Video Camera of the year and Best High-End ILC. Panasonic G9 High Resolution Mode, Low Light AF, Video Quality, and Reviews

Many of the mirrorless cameras being produced today are coming out with similar features, which is probably partially because of Sony producing so much of the technology inside. We will have to wait and see if the Panasonic G9 is a serious Sony a9 competitor, but the high frame rate, pixel shift, and video performance inside many of these mirrorless cameras is becoming homogenous, while the prices continue to rise because Sony handling everything could be limiting the pinnacle of m43 performance.

Iridient Developer 3.2.1 Supports Panasonic G9 And On Sale December 14-28

The Iridient Developer 3.2.1 update is now available for download! This new version adds support for recent new RAW camera models, bug fixes and other improvements. The Lightroom plug-in is now able to process DNG format images that were converted on import by Lightroom. This update also fixes a crash on load bug with Mac OS X 10.6.8 systems introduced in the previous 3.2 update.

I also wanted to give you early notice that I will be having an anniversary sale on Iridient Developer this year from December 14-28 with a 25% discount ($75 US + taxes). The upgrade discount can be used on top of the sale price giving an upgrade price of just $45 US + taxes during the sale.
