Olympus OMD E-M1X Photos

Photorumors received photos of what might be the new Olympus E-M1X. The camera looks like it continues in the footsteps of previous OMD cameras, but we will have to see if there is a market for this kind of camera. Previous OMD sold well, but the ever-increasing price point of m43 cameras has stalled the growth of the format. Further, the announcement of the L-Mount alliance has left many wondering if m43 will survive. Let’s hope that Olympus has something really special coming soon.

SLR Magic Anamorphot Adapters Are On Sale and Anamorphic Photography

Anamorphic lenses have a unique look to them that cannot be matched and several of SLR Magic’s Anamorphot adapters are on sale at B&H Photo right now. Anamorphic lenses can also be great for artistic photography if you like their flare/bokeh characteristics.

My friend Depot MSA is experimenting with Anamorphic photography right now and he loves it. You can see one of his photos below or check out his 500px. I personally like the style and it looks great on an iPhone screen.

New 36 Megapixel 8k IMX435AQJ Sensor Could Be Used in Future Panasonic Full Frame Camera

SonyAddict leaked an interesting Full Frame sensor that could be used in a future Panasonic Full Frame camera. The sensor is ready for 8k and could be used in a camera that would significantly more capable than the GH5. I know a lot of people not happy about 8k, but it will be very useful going forward as more highDPI displays are produced.
