Panasonic GX800 and FZ82

Panasonic’s pitch for the GX800 and FZ82. It’s very interesting that the m43 compact cameras are priced incredibly well to compete with 1-inch sensor cameras, while the professional line-up is a little over priced. I would really like someone ask a representative how they came up with the pricing scheme for their new camera line-up. The GX/FX/G are all incredible values and compare well against APS-C cameras that are slightly more expensive.

Lok Shows Off Panasonic’s New Lenses

You won’t learn much from Lok’s latest video, but it’s good to see these lenses and how one of them compares to its full frame equivalent f/4 lens. The size difference is pretty startling if you’re not used to seeing it.

More Panasonic GH5 Coverage

There hasn’t been a lot of new news about the Panasonic GH5 since the announcement, but there are quite a few videos showing the cameras footage quality and ISO capabilities. You can even download files to color grade yourself. This is a very interesting camera and I can’t want to see if it’s half as good at photos as it is for video.

How High Can The Panasonic GH5 Go?

The initial Panasonic GH5 high ISO video results look very promising. This video was created on beta firmware internally at 4:2:0, 8-bit, 60p mode (59.94fps) in 4K UHD, H.264 Level High 5.2, 158 Mbps for Newsshooter. Check out what they have to say about the footage here.
