Interesting News on the Panasonic GH-6 Lumix Update

The recently released firmware for the Panasonic Lumix GH6 V3 adds a couple of features; however….. There’s an optional add-on for a fee of $199.

We have heard about car manufacturers doing similar things, but this is one of the first paid updates happening in the world of cameras. The V3 update is free, but the new software features are not.

This paid upgrade features the ARRI LogC3 picture profile and adds support for the optional DMW-XLR2 microphone adapter.
