The Panasonic GH5S Might Have a IMX294 STARVIS Chip Inside

Sony STARVIS technology was developed for security camera application and could be very interesting if applied to a camera, but I find one issue with this rumor. The Panasonic GH5s should cost less than the GH5 because security camera sensors are designed to be mass produced and inexpensive. Maybe Panasonic reworked the IMX294 chip with Sony to suit their needs, but the chip should still cost less than the current chip inside the GH5.

The sensor has the ability to perform much of what the Panasonic GH5 does and more but will lack 6k photo or really any abilities beyond 4k. It would be far more interesting to take STARVIS technology and put it in a 12MP or 16MP sensor origionally designed for photography for the Panasonic GH5s, but we will see.
