Panasonic released new firmware updates for the Lumix GH7 and G9II MFT cameras that add DMW-DMS1 mic support and other improvements:
Panasonic Lumix GH7 (DC-GH7) firmware update version 1.7:
- Compatible with the digital shotgun microphone DMW-DMS1
- Compatible with the LUMIX smartphone app LUMIX Flow (Ver. 1.5 or later).
- Improved operational stability.
Panasonic Lumix G9II (DC-G9M2) firmware update version 2.6:
- Compatible with the digital shotgun microphone “DMW-DMS1”.
- Improved operational stability.
