I know, I know you want to see the Bokeh, here it is a minimum focus distance. It has the “Leica Look,” not just because there’s bokeh, but the way it transitions from the in focus to out of focus area, and how it’s rendered.
I find it quite intriguing how MFT sensors can yield such great depth of field. The key difference between the two photos is the distance to the focus point, they are both shot wide open.
When you stop down this lens gets razor sharp. This lens is really versatile; it’s 30mm equivalent and has a close minimum focus distance. The coating that is used on the lens is excellent, I have not experienced and color fringing or excessive lens flare even without a hood. The aperture dial is very smooth and has just the right amount of resistance. I really think this lens is a must have. The quality to price ratio is in your favor.
