Panasonic S1/S1R To Be Priced At Around $4,500?

Japanese website SankeiBiz (a business news website run by Sankei – one of the largest media companies in Japan) recently reported that the price point of the upcoming Panasonic S1/S1R will be around $4,500. This is a very steep price to pay for a full frame camera and even the Sony a9 hasn’t been able to hold the price point long. I’m not sure how Panasonic and Olympus continue to justify their increasingly high price points as other camera companies continue to offer more for less.
