The Panasonic GH5 is probably still the right choice for most vlogger/videographers and even cinematographers over the Panasonic GH5S if you agree with most of the reviewers around. Many of the differences between the two cameras are negligible for most users. While the GH5S offers a slight 1-2 stop low light improvement over the GH5 the missing IBIS seems to really ruin the camera for most reviewers and many do not see this low light improvement increasing image quality, so there isn’t a huge advantage to using the new sensor.
